Managing Director, James Lee

James received his BE in Structural Engineering in 1989 from NUI Galway, an MSc in Bridge Engineering and a PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of Surrey in England. James has over 20 years experience in the structural engineering industry, research and the structural engineering/finite element software industry.

Sigma-X Ltd which has its headquearters in Galway on the West Coast of Ireland was founded in 2003.

Sigma-X develops and markets analysis and design software solutions for the structural engineering industry.

Sigma-X offers structural engineering specific analysis and design functionality currently not available with finite element programmes;i.e. realistic post tensioning functionality and design to the EuroCodes.
